Most AI tools send your words to someone else's cloud. ZOLA runs on our own hardware, and your conversations stay with you.
Every team wants the help an AI assistant can give — drafting, summarizing, working through code. Fewer teams are comfortable with where those conversations usually go: out to a third party, stored on hardware you don't control, sometimes used to train the next model.
ZOLA is our answer to that. It's the AI assistant built into Tayozola, and the difference is simple: it runs here, on our own machines, not on someone else's cloud.
The point of ZOLA isn't that it's the biggest model. It's that you know exactly where your words go — and where they don't.
What ZOLA is
ZOLA runs Llama 3.2 locally, served through Ollama and Open WebUI on dedicated Tayozola hardware. There are no outside API calls for the model itself. When you type something into ZOLA, it's processed on our own machine and stays on the network.
That's the whole design. We didn't wrap someone else's API and put a logo on it. We run the model ourselves so we can make an honest promise about your data.
Why local matters
Your conversations never leave the network, and they are never used for training. What you say to ZOLA stays on your account. For anyone working with client material, internal notes, or anything you'd rather not hand to a third party, that's the part that counts.
It also means there's no separate AI vendor in the mix — no extra account, no extra terms of service, no question about who can read what.
What it can do
ZOLA is a full workspace, not a stripped-down chat box. It can search the web for current answers, write and run code in the conversation, read images and documents, and — for Pro members — remember context across sessions so you're not repeating yourself every time.
It's the same kind of assistant you're used to, with the one difference that matters most underneath it.
How to start
If you have a Tayozola account, ZOLA is already waiting in your dashboard — sign in and open it. There's nothing to install and nothing to configure.
